To start, find your favorite audio book store's search page and see if they have an advanced search option. You can then use settings such as highest rating and bestsellers. Even if they don't have an advanced search page, you can often use sorting functions on category listings and search pages to find the best audiobooks.
You can almost always sort the category pages to find the best audio books by clicking on headers, or sidepanels. Try options that filter down to "at least four stars", or "most popular".
If you like to read audio books by independent or less popular authors, they might not already be rated by somebody else. You may be able to find out more by looking at the ratings on a different audio book store's site, or on blogs and websites that have audio book reviews, such as this one.
